The objective of AWANA at South River is to memorize God’s Word and apply this truth to their lives.
The AWANA clubs are a Bible-centered ministry for children age 2 through the 6th grade and youth grades 7 through 12 with teaching that builds an enduring biblical faith using healthy mentor and peer relationships.
Meeting every Sunday (September – May) from 5 pm – 7pm.
AWANA Night includes Verse and Book Time where your child will incorporate memorization, understanding and application of key Bible verses weekly. Game Time is an exciting and fun time where your child will participate in team games that are age appropriate. A light snack will be provided. Lastly your child will participate in Devotion Time where they will incorporate study and application of Biblical Passages.
Puggles introduces 2 year olds to biblical precepts at church and equip parents to teach them at home. Puggles check-in to the preschool hallway in Room 121.
Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Cubbies check-in to the Preschool Hallway.
Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. Sparks check-in to the Family Life Center
T&T engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace. T&T check-in to the Family Life Center
Trek challenges middle-school students to consider their destiny in Christ and pursue it through life application of God's Word.
Journey is designed to fully ground high school students in Christian doctrine and grow their faith through practical application.
